Hello family! Well that is awesome about you all memorizing the living Christ way to go haha! That is pretty intense! Conner liking wrestling huh crazy! My first year was hard I remember. I was actually telling members last night about my first year of wrestling and how bad it sucked and how I'd cry after every single match! Sometimes we have to do things in life that just plain suck not gonna lie! And sometimes we get into the habit of thinking why me? what have I done or have I not done? I’m trying my best and nothing seems to get better! I've even caught myself doing this on my mission! Then the other day I read a scripture in Heleman 3:12 I think not sure I don't have my scriptures with me but it talks about how the lord chastens his people and how if he didn't we would never remember him! It's funny because I use The expression with my investigators about how God is our literal Father in heaven and just like any parent if he kept us in the house our entire lives we'd never experience any of those bad things right? Then I ask them what is something they like out side there house! But if our Heavenly Father never let us out we'd never experience any of those good things in life either so I kinda like being outside the house a little bit haha! But as we go through those hard things we become stronger. For me in wrestling I became physically stronger which still helps me today. My mission so far has been a struggle every day but I see my self becoming spiritually stronger! As we Endure those hard things in our lives we come out of them stronger and I know this for a fact! I have a family in my ward named the Austin’s and I absolutely love them! we have dinner with them tonight but they spoke in church yesterday and made some very good points! Sister Austin was talking about the fire darts of the devil and how she loves that the scriptures use darts because we'd all played Darts and there not the biggest thing and if you got hit by it, it probably wouldn't hurt that bad! But she said that is how the devil works with us.. little by little first its starts out ya know I worked hard this week I don't need to go to church. Then it goes to oh well you know the Book of Mormon doesn't have actually proof that its true! Then we go to not believing our testimony anymore and little by little we fall away from that truth that we find true happiness in! I know this is true we've all seen it happen to good people who we taught would never leave the church.! I loved it because she related it to Lord of The Rings. There is a part where the king is getting alot of evil forces coming down to attack him and he decided to go and take shelter in Helms Deep which is a city built into the mountains and he says kinda pride fully that Helms Deep has never fallen! Anyways they get there and doing really good for awhile until the enemy finds a little whole is this massive wall where the water goes in and out and they then take an explosive in there and the wall falls down!! That is how it is in our lives with the fight we have against Satan! He finds that little whole in the wall and uses everything he has to bring us down! We need to be constantly aware of our selves and how we need to keep our self strong against those temptations from them Devil!! :)) sorry I just went off haha I love relating movies to the gospel!! But my Week went really well! Nothing to much new, I’m already half way through this transfer which is crazy!! Whoa But that you for the letters.. Kim and Tricia I think I got yours this week and for all the emails( Amanda, Conner, dad, mom) I love you all and until next week!! :):)
