Well this week was haha different to say the least.. We had p-day Monday and on that night I went on a tour with the Zone Leaders so Dantas went to their area and one came with me in my area... We talked a lot about how we can find people and we worked hard st contacting and talking with EVERYONE... haha we did find some pretty cool English people to pass to the English elders so that was good. It was fun to be with him(Elder Sorel) because he is one transfer ahead of me in the mission and I have never served with someone older then me in my mission except my Trainer. Wednesday we St contacted again and have been working hard to find people to teach. Thursday was Thanksgiving and it was a great day... It started out by some of us missionaries going to the park by the ocean ( which is like 10 min from our house) and playing so knee football and futebol.. Futebol mostly just kicking into a goal. We aren't allowed to play actual football so we just played on our knees... Needless to say it was lame in a fun missionary way haha. I can't wait for next year to play some football and chill :). After that we went and got slurpes because my district leader was kind of depressed so I told him I'd buy him a slurpe! Then we went to our Ward Mission leaders house to eat a lunch... He is from Honduras and his wife is from Peru... we walked in and they were watching How to Train your Dragon (the last movie I saw before my mission) The food wasn't ready yet so we sat down and watched some of it in Spanish... I didn't understand to much haha but it was cool... Then we ate some lunch which was pasta and salad :) It was great and we shared a Thanksgiving message from a Mormon message. After that we went to a member named The Maldinados and their from Puerto Rico but speak English perfect and the father hates to speak Spanish but loves the missionaries haha his nick name is Bro Mal which means brother bad haha we ate some rice and turkey with some cheese cake dessert.. after that we went to a diner and got some milk shakes and saw the end of the cowboys game ( 3 sec to be exact) haha it was a good day... a non typical Thanksgiving :)
The next day we had to get up at 3:30 to drive to the Temple which is 3 hours away I ended up driving the whole way up which everyone sleeping in the car.. I was super tired but I had some great time to ponder about my mission so far... I'm grateful for my entire mission... I don't regret one thing about it. :) we then had the opportunity to go to the House Of the Lord... It was amazing I love going there!! And after we had a huge Testimony meeting with our zone which was really great. It's getting weird to think I'm an older missionary and that, that may be my 2 to last time going to the temple on my mission... weird But over all this week was super fun and pretty productive.. Maybe not in numbers but we are ready to continue working.. I love you all and Thank you for all the pictures and emails you send me :) I feel like I was home this last Thanksgiving... :)
