I'm glad everything is going well there. As I receive your letters and your emails as far as I know you're all doing very well. Well this week wasn't to exciting haha just a ton of snow haha I'm so sick of it. No lie we have like 3 feet in normal snow then like 5 week in the snow drifts around here and we are suppose to get 1 1/2 more on Wednesday this week. Its crazy my arms got pretty sore from all the shoveling and Tuesday was pretty boring with the Red Dot day. Thursday we taught Anton and we went over about all the interview questions with him, and set him up with a interview with the zone leaders this Thursday to come. Hopefully we can get him baptised either this Sunday or the week after. That is pretty exciting! Thursday night we went and looked for a recent convert as of march who has gone very inactive ( we caught him drinking with his friends one night) but he wasn't home but while we were there, their was this man standing out side his house/apt waiting for someone to let him in. I asked if he needed help but he said no he was just locked out for the past hour. So we stayed and talked for like 30 min( in Spanish haha) We come to find out that he is a member and has been living here for the last 6 months to see what it was like and his family still lives in Spain. He was a really cool guy and he said he wanted to go to Church, not this week but next. Then he proceeded to break into his house and I've never seen someone do it so fast in my life, it was amazing. So that was also cool! Friday it snowed about 8 inch but we didn't get red dotted (which is weird because this storm was way worse then Tuesday :S) so we went out and st contacted haha there was like no one out but we had to be obedient and we talked to a Brazilian and gave him a book of Mormon so it worked out. We spent the rest of the day shoveling and going to our dinner. Saturday we played basketball in the morning and then tried a bunch of potentials but no one was willing to talk to us haha. We had dinner at like 4 which was really weird but it was good so I didn't care and we got the members to give us a bunch of part member family's that we didn't know so we can try them this week and it is really cool to see how the ward has started to make the change into a functioning missionary ward. We are starting to get referrals and things a really starting to turn around for this ward. I think that the ward will have some huge success in the next year but that is just me. We had a Missionary come home from his mission in NJ and he is legit. He will probably be moving out to BYU with his soon to be wife Sarai Quezada ( she reminds me of Amanda so much, doesn't take crap from no one haha) needless to say we kind of get along but kind of not because I don't put up with her crap haha you can add her on my fb if you want. But he gave a talk on Sunday and it was really good. He really told the ward to start working with us more and the youth too. It was really good. Last night we went to a Brazilian church haha and it was crazy!!!! Like I felt like I was at a party, they had live bands. Yes BANDS like guitar, drums, keyboard and a whole bunch of stuff. They even had like a "primary program" where there kids got up and played the instruments and sang it was pretty cool but guess what??? The Spirit was not there haha and Elder Dos Santos and I stood up and because we were new worshipers haha but they all saw and know who we are! It was pretty crazy, Hopefully we can get a couple of the Brazilians there to come to our church now. But that was pretty much my week! We met with a lot of less actives and a lot came to church so that is awesome. And I'm really loving the area and the people! I feel like I'm part of the ward now and the members trust us with their friends. My Spanish and Portuguese is getting better as I continue to work and I WILL speak these languages when I'm done here I promise. The lord really does bless us in this work. Were asked to leave our family and friends but in return we get to learn a little how Christ feels about all his children who do not have his gospel! It is still very humbling to know that I'm a servant of God and I only get to do it for a little while longer. Its is no longer two years and its scary to see how time is slipping away.! I love this gospel with all my heart and I'm so glad to be an instrument in my Saviors hands.
