Elder Jonny Burton: January, 19 2011

My goodness haha Monday was a holiday so that means no letters or no emails haha I was dying and then to make it better Tuesday we get Red dotted because we got some snow and freezing ice so we couldn't drive and staying in the house all day playing board games is not the funniest thing ever haha it feels like forever since I’ve written home but... :) Anyways so since last Thursday this is what went down. First Thursday night I got to go on splits with the office Elders and pick up all the luggage of the missionaries being transferred. ( I do it every time, I guess they like my efficacy haha) but I went with Elder Holley and I love this kid haha he is from Ogden UT and we've played B-ball on Saturday mornings for the last 3 months and we dominate together. But he was getting transferred so we went to picked up luggage together until like 11:30 which is now so late for me but It was sweet, I loved it. So then Friday was transfers and because again Elder Dos Santos and I are really close to the office we got to help again take luggage to the new areas of missionaries, So we get to go to transfers and find out where everyone is going first hand haha legit. Then after that we take the luggage so we drive all around Mass and deliver pretty much. So cool experience we are getting to the last place we have to go and there sister missionaries so of couse there not ready for us, and not even home when we get there. :S Goodness but we wait for about 30 min for them to get there and drop there stuff off quick because we have a dinner appt and my GPS is dying because we don’t have a power cord. We start driving home in the middle of Boston (revere more specific) and my GPS dies and as we all know Framingham is all I know because its my only area. So were screwed haha but we just decided to drive it and see if we can some how make it. Before the GPS dies it says that is should take about 1 hour 15 min to get home. No joke we drove for 45 min before we were home, in time for our dinner appt and we didn't have to turn around once in a huge city when im just a boy from good ol PG :S. Now someone please tell the lord doesn't know us and watch out for us because I beg to differ. It was truly amazing I don’t know how it happened! But that was pretty sweet. Church was pretty normal Nick came for a little bit but because he has not been very active in keeping commitments, Satan is starting to work on him and he was saying something’s that were kind of disappointing but we'll get him. We're going to see him today so that should be good. Monday was a Holiday and so we went and played some basketball and this Elder was guarding me when I drove in and he was ridding me hard the whole way into the bucket and so when I just in the air he tried to block me but my shoulder hit his face and I chipped some of his teeth and gave him a bloody nose :S I felt bad but I think he should be okay he kind of over exaggerated it because I swear his teeth looked the exact same but whatever. Yesterday I had a huge head ach and since were not allowed to drive anywhere and we live to far away from our area. I took a quick nap then helped shovel all our neighbors out again, and this snow sucked because it snowed and then rained and was below freezing when it rained so it ice everything and it sucked to shovel so bad. But after that we walked about 2 miles to a wendys where one of our members is a manager and we gave me a meal from like 2 dollars which was awesome haha then we just played munchkin all night and now here I am. Sorry not to much happened and from the looks of it we may get red dotted again because the freezing rain seems to be back so... It really sucks not doing missionary work because then the days seem to go by so freaking slow but what can you do? That is all I got so until next week
