Hey Guys! Elder Burton reporting here!! Haha well I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend. I heard for some of you it was kind of rough haha but others it seemed it was great. We had a great time yesterday! We watched Ratatouille, Pokemon ( Were almost done with the first season) and went to a BBQ before P-day was over. It was really good because they wilds parents ( where we've been doing service) invited us over for the BBQ and it was great except I thought Elder McClellan was going to jump into the pool because It was so freaking hot haha so I made the executive decision to leave early haha but it was good other then that. Here it has been so FREAKING hot haha and humid. I'm not a huge fan but I'm stuck here haha. I had a couple difficulties with my Companion this week so I had to have another companionship inventory with him, after talking to my District Leader. He is on exchanges in providence right now and I'm with a missionary named Elder Dowdy he is sick. We had another slow week unfortunately but we did tracked into this couple who was high and I taught them about the book of Mormon and beat boxed for them haha. They probably wont go anywhere but I'm still working hard looking for those elect people god is preparing. My year mark was fun I went to Texas Road House and got desert because I didn't have enough money to get dinner because Elder McClellan ran out of money about the 12 of May. Which meant I had to support myself and him at the same time which is unfortunate because I had about 175 dollars at the beginning of the month and ended with 0 and I've never ran out on my mission. I've done really good at budgeting on my mission. But it was still fun! Nothing really cool happened this last week though haha just normal missionary stuff. I did read the talk on Service today by Elder M Russell Ballard and it was really good! I thought about all the opportunities I had back in the ward to serve and how grateful I am for those experiences. Remember when we serve others we are only serving god. And It doesn't matter how big or small the service is, we still get the same blessings :) I love you all so much and I'll talk to you soon!
