Well Family this has been one crazy week. Haha I love the mission! Elder Slack and I really went to word hard this week. We decided to really work with the Cape Verdeans this next little while because we want to get a branch in this area in the future. So that is the main goal as of right now! We taught about 15 lessons this week with 9 new investigators and 3 baptismal dates. Elder Slack and I have the same work ethic so were really doing well now. As District leader I have to get a training at a Leadership Training meeting this Wednesday and they want it to be "out of the ordinary" that is why they asked me haha so it should be fun. I also got a portable dvd player in our apartment so I can give trainings using the dvd resources. It's pretty crazy. We have this Lady named Fatima who is a girl friend of a member and she seems really solid. We will be working with her every week to get her baptised. We had one investigator at church but that is because they had this Cape Verdean Festival this last Sunday and all of our investigators went to it. So next week we should have alot more at church I hope. We went to the Festival after church yesterday to contacted all the Cape Verdeans haha and it was pretty crazy. Lets just say we decided to leave early because they went in the right place to feel the spirit. But there were probably 10000 cape verdeans there which was crazy. Today Elder Slack and I went and got our hair cut at a beauty school and the girl to cut my hair was so good looking!! haha It was great to get my hair washed not going to lie. We taught her a couple principals but she wasn't interested in THE message but she was interested in ME hahaha it was really funny. We gave her a mormon.org card and told her maybe she can find me in a year on facebook haha but It was a funny experience. Other then that our week was normal just missionary stuff! I love what I do.! I love speaking a different language it's so handy. I love you all!! The Church is True.
