Oi Gente,

Well hello there everyone at home!!! This week was super fun and hard working. When I got to the Vineyard we had about 6 investigators and now we have about 1 and a half... so that stinks but we are successful when we invite. That is our job here so... we had a very successful week. We probably tracted every day for at least an hour haha but it was fun.
On Monday I got my hair cut by Sister Brown who is our Branch Pres. wife.. she did a pretty good job for it being her first missionary hair cut :) we have been over to there house 3 times for dinner in 7 days haha.. Before that Elder packer had only been there 5 times in 6 months. Valentines day everyone canceled on us but our members made us some cup cakes and left them on our door step. Then then next major event besides tracting is we got to go teach a quick message to one of our less actives, She is Brazilian, and boy she is prego. We taught her about enduring to the end and I had to take a couple notes from what I was teaching haha. But it was a good spiritual thought and we invited her to come to church even if she was a little sick.. just for an hour.. and SHE CAME!!!! :) yes haha she stayed for the first hour and left but hey that is progress :) We got invited to go ice skating so we did for a bit and we got our name and the churches name in the local news paper haha so we are finding missionary opportunities. Other then that our week was chill. We went off island for p-day yesterday and chilled with Dos Santos on cape cod. I bought a boston college jacket for 7 bucks and a couple other things to remember my mission. I love this area and I'm having a good time... I hit my 99 this week and when a missionary in this mission hits his 99 day left he goes to the restaurant called The 99 so I'll be going there this week and hopefully taking some pictures :) We'll I love you and i'll be seeing you in a bit

Love,
Elder Burton
